AACPS Out-of-State Field Trip Guidelines 2023:

  • 2023 - 2024 Guidelines for Out-of-State trips require ONE (1) Student per bed, up to THREE in a room if in an All Suites hotel.
  • All Chaperones must be fingerprinted for out-of-state trips. This includes anyone who plans to attend and be around the students even if they are not traveling on the bus with us.

Student Festival Trip Registration 2026

 

Each student is asked to partner up with TWO (2) “Buddies” for the trip.  These are Student's that your child will travel with on the bus, room with at the hotel, and be with at all times when not performing.  Your child’s form and their Buddy’s forms must match or we cannot guarantee partners.  All Buddies must be of the same gender and can be from either band or orchestra. 

 
If your child does not know with whom to buddy, do not worry!  We will work with Mr. Knox to group them up as best as possible, and it will work out.  It is always best, however, if your child can find their Buddies.

By default, each Chaperone will share a room with one other Chaperone of the same gender.  If you have a preference of who you would like to room with, please let us know below.  If you have no preference, we will pair you up.  

 
To help keep costs down, Chaperones can choose to room THREE (3) to a room if they wish to do so.
